At some point in the conversaion the guy flipped open the case on his pilot and made a note.</p> <p>At that moment the future arrived for me.</p> <p>I can't remember how long it took me to get a Palm 1000 but it wasn't long and I beat the living daylights out of that thing. It was just so <em>usable</em>.</p> <p>It was the same kind of feeling when I scrolled the iPod touch display with my finger, when I zoomed out safari, and when i turned the display over and it fell into widescreen.
