The Future of Web Apps

So I'm sat in Kensington Town Hall with, it seems, every geek in a 1,500 mile radius of London for the Carson Future of Web Apps summit. The speaker list is pretty much the Who's Who of developing modern web applications.

It's pretty cool to get a chance to meet some of the people I've been talking to online in this space. And maybe some of the talent will rub off on me ;-)

I'm currently sat next to corp, and dc (who has just launched his new website -- looks great!)

Very interesting to hear Joshua Schachter (Del.icio.us) say that developers need to establish a moral code to backup their application and need to respect the users ownership of their data. You don't hear that very much. Obviously it gels completely with the PAOGA world view.
