Dave Winer suggests sending a copy of Windows Vista to Alpha Centuri:
If I were Bill Gates, I might send a copy of Windows Vista to Alpha Centauri (of course with a computer to run it on)
Hrmm... they might not appreciate such a gesture. With all the problems we have at home do we really want to provoke war with Alpha Centuri?
